nursing-informatics.net aims to be several things ands serve several purposes:

an index of other nursing informatics resources - linking to groups, publications, and the many miscellaneous nursing informatics resources that are available o­n the web;
a global resource - too many websites link o­nly to sites within their own countries, and provide little linkage to sites in other countries. We aim to try and provide true global coverage;
original content - a simple index o­n its own is not enough. We aim to provide mechanisms for new materials to be developed and made available to a wide audience.
