What's new - ticTocs might keep you informed

You probably know the problem. You have access to many journals, but you don't find the time to check them regularly for any new articles that might be of interest to you. Well, you could just use each journal website and sign up, in order to get emails each time a new journal and a new table of content (TOC) is published. This can be done much easier now. ticTocs is a service where you can subscribe to rss-feeds of the journals you are interested in. You only have to register once, select the journals you are interested in, and you are done. Now you have two choices: either read the TOCs in your ticTOC account or even better, subscribe to the rss-feeds featuring your favourite journals. Thanks JISC!

Ulrich,

Additionally you also can use the API (http://www.journaltocs.ac.uk/index.php?action=api) to search and use the journals you are interested in from your own web page

Santy

Journal TOCs http://www.journaltocs.ac.uk/ has more TOCs, you can search within the TOCs, and you can get email alerts as well.

I am so happy to see this post. This is the first time I am reading about this ticTocs. It is a great service offered by this technology to subscribe to rss-feeds. I would love to try this out. Thanks a lot for sharing this information. Keep posting.
