Google Code University

In the beginning Google started to offer a search engine for programming code. Now they are taking it even further. If you want to learn more about certain programming techniques or aspects of computer science, Google Code University might be a place you would like to visit. On this side they provide tutorials and link to course content related to  current computing technologies. While the emphasis is on web-based technologies other topics are also covered. Since at least part of the content (tutorials, lecture slides, and problem sets) is placed under a Creative Commons license this makes it also a great resource for educators as the content can be used easily in their own courses. Great! Topics covered range from:
  • AJAX Programming
  • Distributed Systems
  • Web Security
  • Languages
  • Tools 101 (Introduction to development tools like version control systems and databases)
If you want more, there is a "Computer Science Curriculum Search" that a does web search for material offered by informatics educators.
